Job Summary
Lead and support environmental remediation projects within Florida’s Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP). Oversee site assessments, source removal, remedial action planning, groundwater monitoring, and remediation system operations and maintenance; manage site closure activities; prepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and cost estimates; ensure compliance with FDEP regulations and PRP requirements; manage project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and subcontractors; serve as primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and project stakeholders; lead, mentor, and support junior technical staff; support business development and maintain strong client relationships; travel across Florida as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing environmental remediation projects
- Direct experience with Florida PRP projects and FDEP regulations
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client deliverables
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites throughout Florida
