Job Summary
Environmental Project Engineer responsible for project execution and control, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule from start-up through completion; lead multidisciplinary teams, manage design decisions, perform conceptual evaluations, support NEPA documentation, lead stormwater planning/design/permits, CERCLA feasibility studies/remediation design support, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and regulators; strong technical report writing, data analysis, and coordination skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience and ability to obtain PE license (preferred)
- Independent proficiency in application of their technical field
- Ability to lead a project team through design phases
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-aided analysis and drafting technologies
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work in outdoor locations including active construction/remediation sites
- Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
