Job Summary
Environmental Project Engineer role combining civil and environmental engineering responsibilities. Lead and manage environmental projects across public sector, manufacturing, energy, industrial, government, and real estate clients with duties including project evaluation, environmental investigations, permitting, compliance, and construction support. Field and office mix with leadership of field teams during drilling, sampling, and data collection; apply engineering computations with emphasis on contaminated sites and Superfund; utilize AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater modeling tools; prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, drawings, cost estimates, scopes, and proposals; collaborate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to deliver compliant, sustainable project solutions. Requires PE license (or ability to obtain), 4+ years of relevant experience, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological or Environmental Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience related to environmental/engineering
- Professional Engineer license (PE) or the ability to obtain
- Experience with civil engineering design, environmental investigations, and project coordination
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater modeling programs
- The ability to coordinate efforts effectively as part of a project team
- Good business and technical writing skills
