Environmental Project Engineer/Project Manager

Job Summary
Conduct engineering project work under direction, performing site investigations and evaluating surface and subsurface conditions. Support planning and implementation of engineering programs by developing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while monitoring expenditures and reporting variances. Review work product for compliance with engineering principles and standards, interfacing with clients to provide status updates and prepare progress reports. Perform interim analysis of field and lab data for safety and project monitoring, assisting in scheduling research and design parameters. Work toward PE licensure and participate in company initiatives to reinforce business relationships and identify new project opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation to job sites
- Must be able to lift under 50 lbs
- Must have specific vision abilities including close, distance, and adjustable focus
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time which may be out of state
- Must agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience
- 2 years of project management experience preferred
- Previous construction experience a plus
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or working toward PE licensure preferred
- Works toward PE licensure
- Familiarity with computer design software (Quake, WEAP, L-Pile, Finite Element Analysis, etc.)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, NitroPro, MS Word, Excel, Adobe
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts including geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
