Job Summary
We are seeking an Environmental Project Director to lead multidisciplinary environmental projects, focusing on environmental site investigations and remediation design. Key responsibilities include providing professional supervision, project leadership, ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental KPIs, and fostering a culture of innovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental assessments, strong client management skills, and a proven ability to mentor team members. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a professional designation in BC are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering or related discipline
- Registered with a professional designation in BC (e.g. P.Eng or P.Geo or P.Ag)
- 10+ years of experience with environmental site assessments and remediation
- Expertise in field assessments, technical reporting and project management
- Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and regulatory requirements surrounding contaminated sites
- Mentoring skills with a desire to help the advancement of team members in their career pursuits
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational ability
- Strong communication and writing skills with a collaborative mindset
- Valid driver's license
