Job Summary
The Environmental Program Engineer is responsible for managing the facility's ISO 14001-aligned environmental management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and planning/overseeing projects within the Environmental domain. The role includes maintaining and reporting on the environmental management system, coordinating compliance with air and waste regulations, liaising with government agencies, generating data-driven reports, facilitating continuous environmental improvement, and coordinating training related to environmental programs. This is a contract position beginning July 6, 2026 and ending February 18, 2027. The role requires university-level degree in Environmental Engineering and 3-5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Environmental Engineering
- Min 3-5 years directly related experience in environmental field
- Experience with implementing environmental management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate environmental risk to front line and management
- Plan and oversee projects that fall under the Environmental domain
