Job Summary
Execute environmental site assessments, remediation, and reclamation projects from conception to completion. Lead project planning, logistics, and data management while preparing high-quality scientific and technical reports. Ensure conformance to regulatory requirements and safety standards under the mentorship of senior professionals. Manage complex programs and individual tasks with a focus on field-based work and hands-on spill response. Coordinate work in remote conditions while representing H3M's brand and quality standards across Western Canada.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, agrology, or a related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in environmental spill response or fieldwork
- Ability to travel and perform work in remote and challenging field conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and report on field observations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn from senior team members
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required
Desired Qualifications
- ISC-100 awareness training
- Strong interest in field-based work and hands-on environmental spill response experience
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations in Alberta and BC
