Job Summary
Environmental Permitting Engineer coordinates air permit programs (NSR and Title V), supports MOC environmental activities, serves as main contact for projects, prepares permit applications for NSR/Title V and related authorizations, provides air regulatory support (NSPS/MACT/BACT) for Texas and federal standards, and acts as technical consultant on state and federal air permitting; requires BS in Engineering or Sciences and extensive petrochemical environmental experience; strong communication and independent working skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or Sciences
- Extensive experience in Environmental within a petrochemical manufacturing facility
- Experience with interfacing with EMIS (Environmental Management Information Systems)
- Experience in directly interfacing with state or federal regulatory agencies
- Proficient in air regulations (bonus for RCRA and TPDES regulations)
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills in English
- The candidate should also have ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Good interpersonal skills and a high degree of work organization
