Job Summary
Prepare, submit, and manage environmental permit applications including ESCGP-4, Nationwide Permit 12, and air permitting packages. Develop Erosion & Sediment Control and Post-Construction Stormwater Management plans while conducting wetland delineations per USACE methodology. Support grading plans, pipeline alignments, and profiles for oil and gas infrastructure across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. Perform site inspections, compliance audits, and construction monitoring to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to resolve compliance issues and provide field oversight. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with willingness to travel for fieldwork.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- 3–10+ years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Demonstrated experience preparing and submitting permit applications in PA, WV, and OH
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Experience conducting wetland delineations using USACE methodology
- Solid understanding of erosion and sediment control practices and stormwater management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork in varying terrain and weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- CPESC (or progress toward certification)
- Experience with right-of-way support, including slips, design and restoration
- Familiarity with cathodic protection design
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or similar design/mapping tools
- Background in pipeline and other linear project permitting
