Job Summary
Environmental Monitoring Technician responsible for performing routine and non-routine EM testing in Excellos Labs' cGMP facilities, operating and maintaining EM equipment (validation, calibration, preventive maintenance), performing in-house enumeration and sample movement, coordinating shipment of collected samples to external labs, and contributing to EM result summaries, investigations of EM-related quality events, gowning qualification sampling, data trending, and SOP development/revision. Requires cleanroom readiness (gowning per ISO7), strong data analysis and documentation skills, and ability to collaborate across departments to ensure compliant, timely project execution. On-site in San Diego, CA; typical shift Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; salary range $24-$28/hour (annualized).
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree, or a combination of work experience and college coursework in the sciences required.
