Job Summary
Integrate environmental services into business practices and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Oversee all project activities related to environmental services while managing direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Executives. Maintain current knowledge of all governing regulations and industry standards to effectively communicate changes to affected groups. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or related fields, plus five years of experience managing environmental design and construction compliance, including three years on linear transportation projects with fish passage elements in the Pacific Northwest. The position offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $146,500 annually at Skanska USA Civil's Bothell, WA office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Studies or closely related field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 5 years managing environmental design and construction compliance issues on projects
- 3 years specific to linear transportation projects with Federal and/or State-level fish passage elements
- in-water work within the Pacific Northwest region
- Keep current on all EH&S regulations
- utilize all federal, state and local requirements, industry standards and governing regulations to provide guidance
- effectively communicate changes to affected groups
- Advance knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- Practical knowledge of project management
