Job Summary
Environmental Project Manager within the Mid-Atlantic Environmental Planning & Permitting practice, responsible for managing staff and projects, scoping, scheduling, and budgeting, delivering environmental permitting and utility siting support for energy and private-sector clients, mentoring junior staff, conducting client visits and field activities with overnight travel, coordinating field data collection, developing high-quality proposals and deliverables, interfacing with clients and regulatory personnel, and promoting health and safety within the team. Requires BA/BS in a related field with 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of environmental regulations (CWA, ESA, NEPA, NHPA, FERC-related processes), ability to lead interdisciplinary teams, and willingness to travel. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience, PMP or project management certification, and established client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural resources, Wetlands management, or an earth science-related field
- 8+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
