Job Summary
Direct all environmental and sustainability functions across the project, setting strategic direction for protection, performance, and regulatory compliance through design, construction, commissioning, and handover. Establish governance for management to the Builder PSDR, oversee the Construction Environmental Management Plan, and drive the Sustainability Management Plan. Monitor performance targets and KPIs while managing risk, incidents, and audits. This regional role includes the provision to be based at camp as required. ACCIONA delivers major infrastructure projects across Australia, spanning transport, water, and social infrastructure including renewable energy assets.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering
- Experience managing environmental/sustainability on major projects
- Strong knowledge of approvals, EPRs and legislation
- Experience managing sustainability initiatives and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required
