Job Summary
Drive business growth and provide strategic leadership for environmental projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles Region by expanding Environmental Services through strategic business development and client engagement. Build and strengthen relationships with agencies, municipalities, utilities, and private-sector clients while serving as Senior Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge to oversee project delivery, technical quality, budgets, and schedules. Lead pursuits, proposals, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations while guiding multidisciplinary teams delivering CEQA/NEPA compliance, permitting, biological resources, cultural resources, air quality, and noise services. Represent Psomas through professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement to leverage established client relationships and expand the firm's environmental footprint across Southern California.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, land development, planning/policy, wildlife biology, or a related discipline
- 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated technical leadership
- Proven success, growing client relationships and winning new business
- Experience serving as Senior Project Manager, Principal-in-Charge, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA and California environmental permitting
