Job Summary
Conduct environmental compliance inspections at an oil refinery using air monitoring equipment, flame ionization detectors, and optical gas imaging. Perform Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring, manage the environmental database, and maintain piping and instrument diagrams. Generate maintenance work orders, prepare periodic reports, and keep detailed monitoring records. Participate in weekly compliance and safety meetings. Work Monday through Thursday in 10-hour shifts at an oil refinery in Watford City, ND, with a salary of $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate's degree
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to acquire quickly knowledge of the environmental compliance requirements of 40 CFR Part 60
- Experience reading P&IDs
- Experience troubleshooting instrumentation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to other company offices and job sites
- Must be able to work at heights up to 200 ft
- Must be comfortable working outdoors during all weather conditions
- Must be able to work in pipe racks and climb towers
- Must be able to carry backpack with tools and equipment (50lbs)
