Environmental Laboratory Technician III

An Environmental Laboratory Technician III in our Richmond, VA lab will support multiple projects with increasing interaction with multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. Responsibilities include preparation of samples for GC analysis, analysis of samples by GC, preparation of reagents for lab use/shipment, maintaining organized records of sample preparation and analysis, assisting with inventory and acquisition of consumables and parts for instrumentation, and compliance with QA and Health & Safety plans. The role emphasizes contributing to efficiency and accuracy of analyses and collaborating with Group Leaders and analysts. Requires an associate-level laboratory background and ability to work both independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and communication skills are expected.
