Job Summary
Own the annual GHG inventory by leading corporate-level greenhouse gas accounting across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol. Develop internal policies, collect and analyze environmental data including carbon emissions and energy use, and drive continuous data quality improvements. Build analytical tools and forecasts to evaluate climate initiatives and produce dashboards for senior leadership reviews. Strengthen systems by automating workflows with controllership and data technology teams while supporting mandatory and voluntary reporting for CDP, the Sustainability Report, and CSRD filings. Audit data submissions and train teams on carbon data management best practices. This remote role reports to the Environmental Sustainability Leader and requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Data Analytics, with a salary range of $109,800 to $183,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related quantitative field — or equivalent professional experience
- Considerable years of experience in carbon management and corporate-level emissions accounting
- Demonstrated expertise in the GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
- Familiarity with emerging frameworks including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) climate disclosure rules, EU Taxonomy, and CSRD
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Validly authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification such as GHG Inventory Quantifier, International Society of Sustainability Professionals – Sustainability Associate (ISSP-SA), or equivalent
- Knowledge of renewable energy certificates (RECs), carbon offsets, and market-based emissions mechanisms
- Experience working with enterprise sustainability reporting platforms or automation tools
- Formal education and subsequent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Environmental Science, or a related quantitative field
