Job Summary
Manage overall safety, health, and environmental activities to reduce loss and liability while identifying and eliminating concerns across manufacturing facilities. Provide regulatory interpretation and technical support on safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene subjects, ensuring records comply with local, state, and federal laws. Regularly train staff on compliance and performance results, review incidents to determine root causes, and maintain ISO programs. Stay current with OSHA, NIOSH, NFPA, and PSM policies, handle safety software, approve Job Hazard Analysis forms, and report on OSHA 300/301 logs. Oversee accident statistics and formulate revised safety programs to maintain Federal and State guideline compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in safety, industrial hygiene, Environmental engineering or other physical science
- OSHA 30hr certified
- 4+ years in a safety related field in a manufacturing environment
