Job Summary
Environmental Health & Safety Specialist in Manawa, WI, supporting safe, compliant operations. Responsibilities include implementing EHS programs and procedures addressing EHS and security issues, maintaining an incident investigation methodology to identify root causes and corrective actions, interpreting OSHA and EPA policies to ensure regulatory compliance, helping site leadership achieve zero health and safety incidents annually, ensuring accurate and timely submission of site regulatory and internal reporting, and monitoring EHS metrics with proactive mitigation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 1+ years of EHS experience, manufacturing experience preferred, strong problem solving and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- One or more years of related EHS experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Excellent problem solving, and communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong personal accountability for high-quality work with a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
