Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

Develop, implement, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations alongside Mack Molding EHS procedures. Lead training, conduct safety investigations, analyze trends, and collaborate with leadership to prevent incidents while ensuring contractor safety compliance. Function as an integrated member of the Mack-North Incident Command System and oversee hazardous waste operations for all Mack North sites. Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and permits while working with HR to report Vermont Worker's Compensation claims. Provide expert guidance on OSHA, ISO14001, and EPA regulations, audit emergency preparedness drills, and drive continuous improvement through safety committees.
