Job Summary
EH&S Engineer to plan, implement, and oversee environmental, occupational health, safety, and fire protection programs across PCBA and system assembly manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations while fostering a safe, healthy, sustainable, and compliant workplace tailored to high-volume electronics manufacturing environments. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining EH&S programs for soldering, chemical handling, ESD control, and high-power test operations; conducting risk assessments; leading incident investigations and CAPA closure; delivering tailored EH&S training; conducting safety audits and maintaining documentation; supporting ISO management systems; and coordinating with engineering, operations, quality, facilities, contractors, vendors, and regulators to integrate safety into daily practices. Preferred qualifications include CSP or equivalent, advanced safety/environmental degrees, internal audits experience with ISO standards, and leadership/communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of EH&S experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, or system assembly environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and related compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in hazard identification, chemical safety, and manufacturing risk mitigation
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
