Job Summary
Lead and develop the EMEA EHS organization, deploying Oracle's global management system across jurisdictions while enforcing regulatory compliance and inspection readiness. Direct EHS oversight for data center construction, commissioning, and live operations, including contractor governance, site audits, and high-hazard work controls. Own regional incident management, root cause analysis, and serious injury prevention, reporting performance metrics to the executive cycle. Based in the UK, Netherlands, or Ireland with 30–50% travel, this regional line leadership role reports to the Vice President, Global EHS, driving alignment across facilities, real estate, and business leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience
- multi-country responsibility within EMEA
- direct leadership of dispersed EHS teams
- Significant experience in hyperscale data centers/critical facilities
- large-scale construction
- other high-hazard, complex operating environments (e.g., utilities/power generation, oil & gas, chemical, large-scale industrial operations)
- strong governance of general contractors and major delivery partners in a client or controlling-employer capacity
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- EU occupational safety and environmental regulatory frameworks
- experience with works-council environments
- Proven track record leading incident investigation and root cause analysis programs at a regional level
- Demonstrated experience implementing and improving enterprise EHS management systems
- harmonizing regional or legacy programs into a common global framework
- Executive-level communication and influence skills in English
- ability to drive alignment across functions, cultures, and geographies without direct operational ownership
- Bachelor's degree
