Job Summary
HSE Technician in Pamplona, Spain, responsible for supporting and eventually independently managing the HSE Management System in alignment with global standards. Lead local HSE/PRL compliance, maintain and update the HSE Management System with procedures, risk assessments, PAP, and legal records; identify and control occupational risks for office and field activities; coordinate CAPA from incidents and audits; conduct initial accident investigations and report through corporate systems; prepare PEP and PSS documents for site activities; coordinate with external prevention services, occupational health providers, and other stakeholders; plan and monitor HSE training and records; prepare documentation for audits and track action closures; monitor PPE usage and safety procedures through site visits; manage emergency preparedness, environmental aspects, and waste management; track and report HSE KPIs to support management decisions; promote a proactive safety culture; perform additional HSE tasks as assigned by Regional HSE Manager; occasional site visits comprise ~15% of duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE (preferably in renewable energy or construction)
- Certifications in ISO 45001, ISO 14001
- Solid knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Having a driver license
- Availability for site visits
