Job Summary
Assist the EHS Manager in maintaining accurate EHS programs and metrics for facility management and corporate reporting systems. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations while coaching management and employees to ensure compliance with external and internal audits. Conduct risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and environmental compliance audits to recommend mitigation measures and monitor corrective actions. Provide formal and informal training on safety policies, facilitate orientation for new employees and contractors, and investigate incidents to drive closure of preventive actions. Maintain an active presence on the production and warehouse floor to observe employees and provide feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or degree in a Science-related field
- minimum 1 year of work experience dedicated to health and safety and /or environmental field in an industrial setting
- equivalent education and work experience
