Job Summary
Environmental Health and Safety Specialist responsible for coordinating and managing EHS programs across manufacturing sites, conducting facility inspections, assisting in incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring OSHA/EPA/FDA/compliance, coordinating site-wide EHS training, maintaining documentation and records, participating in safety audits and risk assessments, and supporting continuous improvement and emergency preparedness within Piping Rock's manufacturing operations. Requires collaboration with Operations and Maintenance, ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in safety reporting systems; Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5 years of EHS experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and environmental compliance requirements
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and training sessions
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
