Job Summary
Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to support EHS Manager at the Reading manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include assisting with accident investigations, maintaining compliance databases, analyzing safety metrics, communicating EHS procedures and training, participating in audits, coordinating third-party on-site training, determining PPE needs, calendar management, and supporting new hire safety orientation and JSA activities. Requires knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, MS Office proficiency, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and readiness to travel up to 20% to manufacturing/production environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- 0-3 years manufacturing experience
- Experience with MS Office
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA regulations
- Ability to wear PPE
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Some sedentary office work in addition to production floor presence
- Travel 20% per year
