Job Summary
Collaborate with Safe & Secure departments and business partners to identify process gaps, develop solutions, and implement programs that reduce risk while meeting business needs. Use data to monitor program performance, manage information systems for EHS recordkeeping, and establish communication protocols to keep key stakeholders informed. Serve as the Environmental Health and Safety Subject Matter Expert to lead cross-functional teams in evolving health and safety strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory environments. Prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel up to 25% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar (Will accept other majors if combined with 3+ years' experience in safety roles)
- 1-3 years of experience working with EH&S program development or implementation
- Related health and safety credentials (ASP/CSP, SMS, OSHA 30, etc.)
- Experience in managing corporate-level safety programs
- Experience in the implementation of health and safety management platforms
- Experience in writing Environmental, Health and Safety programs and policies
- Strong organizational, project management, and program management skills
- Proven ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization, including senior management
- A high degree of integrity and honesty to handle sensitive or confidential information
- Excellent communication, including facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to coach and motivate others with high influencing skills
- The energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutions
- Must be able to prioritize, problem-solve, and work under pressure in a deadline-driven, rapidly changing organization
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
