Job Summary
Environmental Health and Safety Manager responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, metrics, and training across a steel fabrication facility. Lead compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA focus); conduct workplace assessments, hazard identification, and corrective actions to drive a zero-incident culture; assist HR with workers' compensation reporting and restricted work assignments; represent the organization in hearings and investigations; maintain safety communications and KPIs; oversee MSDS records, PPE provision, and Near Miss processes; plan quarterly drills and annual operator training; coordinate internal audits and third-party certifications; collaborate with operations and site leaders to improve safety processes and regulatory readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or safety related field
- Seven (7) years of progressive safety experience
- Educational background aligning with CSP, ASP, or CIH is preferred
