Job Summary
Develop and implement Eberhard's environmental, health, and safety programs by interpreting OSHA, EPA, and local regulations to ensure compliance across all operations. Lead safety initiatives by conducting facility inspections, investigating incidents to identify root causes, and developing emergency response plans with regular drills. Enhance safety culture by delivering training programs, analyzing EHS data to drive improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain ISO 14001 standards. Generate performance reports for management review and support sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2+ years of EHS experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of ISO standards. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an EHS role
- Strong understanding of EHS, regulations, frameworks, standards, and industry best practices
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Analytical capabilities with the ability to assess data, identify trends and metrics to drive informed decision-making, and implement improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel to analyze and present EHS data effectively
- Experience with ISO 14001:2015
- Experience with ISO 9001
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing environment
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
