Job Summary
On-site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant supporting a technology client in Denver, CO. Responsibilities include performing compliance and system audits to assess project conformity with health, safety, and environmental requirements; providing training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments; identifying corrective actions to close audit findings; developing EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports; and managing tasks within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality. The role involves advising on EHS management systems (including laser safety, battery safety, Chemical/Lab Safety, Hazardous Materials, Waste Management, EHS auditing, and ISO 14001/18001/45001), and collaborating with ERM Partners and Project Managers to deliver projects and nurture client relationships. Candidates should have a BS in a related field, at least 4 years of EHS experience, a CSP/ASP certification is a plus, familiarity with ISO standards, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience providing EHS support with emphasis on health and safety
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Experience with Enablon platform is a plus
- Experience performing Industrial Hygiene monitoring is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting processes
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
