Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety programs to comply with federal, state, and local regulations at a newly constructed multi-building manufacturing campus. Assist in accident and incident investigations by analyzing root causes and implementing preventative actions, while serving as the primary EHS interface with employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulators. Identify workplace safety hazards through documented inspections and collaborate with real estate, facilities, manufacturing, and R&D teams to guide safe behaviors and manage hazardous waste. Ensure compliance with standards including hazard communication, fall protection, respiratory protection, lockout/tag-out, and chemical management across the site.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs
- Experience in Cal/OSHA
- Experience in 40 CFR Parts 260-279 Hazardous Waste Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective at engaging with leadership, regulators, front-line staff, and third-party partners
- Capability to manage multiple activities/projects and deadlines
- U.S. Person status
