Environmental Health and Public Safety Inspector

Conduct environmental health inspections and reviews across food establishments, public buildings, parks, pools, and fairgrounds to ensure compliance with state and local health codes. Enforce public health laws related to food safety, tobacco control, and mosquito control while providing guidance and supervision to member communities. Develop environmental health policies and procedures, offer staff training, and submit regular reports to the SCPHC Board. This role supports the South Coast Public Health Collaborative to strengthen local public health services and promote healthier communities across the region.
