Job Summary
Environmental Stack Testing Field Technician responsible for conducting stack emissions testing (EPA methods 1-5) across diverse job sites, calibrating and maintaining equipment and the mobile lab trailer, ensuring safety compliance, and traveling as needed. The role requires the ability to work at heights, operate high-lifts and perform shop duties, with opportunities for training and qualification, and a focus on teamwork and self-motivation in an environmental remediation and water-resource context.
Required Qualifications
- One to Four years stack testing experience conducting EPA methods 1 through 5 (Willing to train the right candidate!)
- CEMS experience is helpful, but not required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science helpful, but not required
- Must be able to comfortably work at heights (with proper training and safety protocols)
- Must have the ability to travel
- Must possess valid driver's license and driving record free of major violations over past five years (e.g. ability to be insured for company-vehicle and tow trailer)
- Self-starter, quick learner, and possess effective communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to operate high-lifts, climb scaffolding and lift 50 - 70 pounds
