Job Summary
Environmental Field Technician responsible for drum processing, industrial cleaning, and emergency response in heavy industrial environments. Performs loading/unloading and setup/breakdown of equipment, operates and maintains heavy equipment, adheres to safety PPE and corporate policies, and communicates safety and quality concerns to supervisors. Requires ability to work in noisy, hot, and elevated environments; teamwork-oriented; expects physical endurance and the ability to pass drug tests and have a valid driver’s license. Location-based at Bartow, FL with year-round outdoor work and potential for shift work; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, holidays; responsibilities include complying with OSHA/MSHA guidelines, completing training, and signing NDAs/Noncompetes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in environmental/construction/contracting work (preferred)
- OSHA 40 hours training (preferred)
- Proficient operation of heavy equipment (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and write; safety procedures familiarity
- Ability to pass drug tests (pre-employment and random)
- Ability to communicate with supervisors
- Ability to work in extreme conditions (noise, heat, confined spaces)
- Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety standards
- I-9 eligibility within first three days
- Nondisclosure and Noncompete agreement
- Company auto-insurance driver eligibility
- Language skills: reading/writing/speaking safety procedures
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
