Job Summary
Maintain a clean and safe work environment through general cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other areas as assigned. Transport solid waste and hazardous/universal wastes to designated locations and the main accumulation area. Perform burnishing and scrubbing of floors, isolation cleaning, discharge cleaning, and housekeeping duties according to established procedures. Keep housekeeping carts clean and ensure chemical bottles are properly labeled. Notify the department upon completion of assignments and inform managers of any potential problems or unsafe conditions. Perform all duties without direct supervision while prioritizing patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
