Job Summary
Conduct environmental sampling, operations, maintenance, and inspections at client sites while operating heavy equipment like tractors and setting up standard testing machinery. Collect soil and groundwater samples, maintain remediation systems, and perform fieldwork using provided vehicles across uneven terrain. Adhere to behavior-based safety programs and wear full personal protective equipment including gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection. This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, often working alone in isolated areas. You must possess a valid driver's license, pass background and drug screenings, and hold a high school diploma with six years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma +6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a client-mandated drug test
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor and outdoor environments with uneven terrain, variable environmental conditions include heat, dust, noise, and dryness
- Conducting fieldwork and wearing associated personal protective equipment, including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, and hearing protection
- This position requires frequent (more than 50% of the workday) standing/walking, and operation of vehicles; often (25-50% of the workday) performing keyboard/mouse operations, working alone in isolated/remote areas, and lifting less than 25 pounds; occasionally (10-25% of the workday) performing repetitive ending/stooping, power ripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), operation of heavy, moving or dangerous equipment, and lifting of 25-50 pounds; rarely (less than 10% of the workday) wo...

- Mechanically inclined with experience operating and maintaining remediation systems, including air sparge and biovent systems

- Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
