Job Summary
Conduct Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and soil management plans while managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to navigate regulatory landscapes, develop conceptual approaches, and oversee due diligence for liability protection and financing. Prepare environmental site assessment reports, interpret data, and manage construction monitoring inspections for financial lenders. Perform periodic regional travel and adhere to client-mandated safety protocols. Requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering and 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience conducting PHASE I AND II ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS
- Practical experience with writing environmental site assessment reports
- Ability to interpret data
- Ability to communicate findings from site assessment activities
- Ability to develop recommendations relevant to project objectives
- Experience collecting environmental samples (soil, groundwater, sediment, and air)
- Experience reviewing laboratory analytical reports
- Experience preparing summary reports
- Working knowledge of general building construction
- Experience and comfort with working on construction sites around heavy equipment
- Strong professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple aspects of projects independently and simultaneously
- Ability to adhere to project schedules
- Ability to adhere to budgetary requirements
- Experience working within client-mandated safety protocols

Desired Qualifications
- ASTM E1527-21 training
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania's Act 2 Program
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania's Management of Fill Policy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Business development and client interactions skills
- Desire to grow in business development and client interactions area
