Job Summary
Coordinate the ISO 14001 certification and environmental management system to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous environmental performance improvements for the mill; oversee projects implementing new environmental regulations and permits; supervise development and delivery of training on environmental job requirements; lead pollution-prevention initiatives; maintain liaison with EPA, FERC, and other agencies; interpret environmental laws for management and operations to drive compliance; monitor mill environmental performance and address non-compliance or performance gaps; survey operating departments to surface performance gaps and measure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Chemical or Environmental Engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience
