Job Summary
Environmental Engineer in Environmental Remediation Practices at AECOM in Long Beach, CA. Responsible for supporting remediation system operations, soil and groundwater investigations, and remediation projects in a hybrid work model. Performs portions of assignments, gathers and correlates engineering data, conducts calculations and tests, proposes approaches to problems, identifies discrepancies, and provides guidance to entry-level engineers. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience; valid driver’s license; US citizenship or permanent resident. Preferred: 4 years field experience, 40-Hour HAZWOPER, MS Office proficiency, excellent communication; Master’s degree is a plus.
