Job Summary
Environmental Engineer to support the MetroLink Directorate in managing environmental performance across the design and construction of a major rail infrastructure programme in Dublin. You will ensure compliance with the Railway Order and Sustainability Plan, provide technical oversight and assurance, act as the environmental contact for a section of works, collaborate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to monitoring, reporting and mitigation of environmental risks throughout design and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in environmental science, engineering, geoscience or a related discipline
- Significant experience in environmental management on large infrastructure or rail projects
- Strong understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment and Irish planning legislation
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and complex project environments
- Ability to manage environmental risks and ensure quality assurance across project delivery
