Environmental Engineer II

Job Summary
Oversee and maintain environmental regulatory compliance for assigned facilities, managing day-to-day operations including air permits, wastewater discharge, stormwater compliance, and RCRA Part B requirements. Conduct routine plant inspections, participate in daily meetings, and prepare all required reports such as SARA, DMRs, air certifications, and hazardous waste documentation. Develop operational procedures, lead employee training programs, and provide cross-functional EH&S support to ensure full adherence to federal, state, and local standards. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with availability for outside hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university
- 2-3 years Environmental Program Management experience

- Air permitting experience
- Emergency response experience
- Environmental training experience
- Experience in regulatory inspections and agency interface (EPA, state, local)
- Landfill operations knowledge
- RCRA – TSDF experience
- Title V, NPDES, and hazardous waste reporting experience
- TSCA, TRI, Tier II Reporting
- Waste management experience
