Job Summary

Lead remediation projects by developing concepts for mitigating technical design issues, conducting contamination assessments, and performing remedial investigations. Design remedial systems and oversee installation and construction while managing system monitoring and operation. Collaborate with geotechnical and civil engineering staff to integrate remedial action plans, environmental permitting, and work plan development for industrial and hazardous waste sites across Florida and the Southeast. Provide office and field support for chlorinated solvents and PFAS/PFOS remediation, requiring periodic travel. Maintain knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and NEPA/SEPA while solving multi-disciplinary problems from inception to completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
  • 3+ years of progressive professional experience
  • Profession Engineer (PE)
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Environmental Regulations and NEPA, SEPA
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound technical skills for analysis
  • Knowledge of current industry remediation methods and techniques
  • Periodic travel
  • Field work
