Job Summary
As an Environmental Engineer in EHS, you will manage environmental compliance and engineering activities to meet regulatory requirements. You will contribute to the development and execution of corporate compliance strategies and provide expertise to stakeholders across departments. The role involves leading environmental compliance and risk management throughout construction projects in semiconductor factories from planning and design to construction, commissioning, and handover. Key responsibilities include managing environmental compliance in construction projects, communicating EHS requirements to contractors, overseeing environmental management on-site, assessing environmental impact and managing administrative procedures for permits, and aligning global standards while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of domestic laws related to EHS (ability to read regulations)
- Knowledge and practical experience of administrative reporting based on environmental laws
- Practical experience in environmental projects (water quality, air quality, energy conservation)
- Skills to analyze data statistically and logically
- Basic knowledge and practical experience of management systems such as ISO14001, ISO50001.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor-related factories
- Knowledge and experience with chemicals (acids/alkalis, inorganic/organic, hazardous materials, high-pressure gases)
- Experience as an Environmental Engineer for over 3 years
- Knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment or industrial waste management
- English communication skills for practical use (teleconferences, presentations)
