Environmental Engineer

Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, quality, and sustainability standards while enforcing policies and regulations at the Gallatin plant. Lead environmental efforts by identifying and resolving issues, communicating with agency personnel on permits, and negotiating compliance matters. Develop training programs for employees, contractors, and agency staff to ensure regulatory compliance with ISO14001 and government requirements. Manage hazardous waste programs, coordinate disposal, handle spill cleanups, and maintain all required permits and documentation. Serve as the primary contact for agency inspections and environmental consultants, assisting Plant Management in community relations.
