Job Summary
Conduct hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, and equipment decontamination while operating light and heavy equipment, handling various hand tools, and using powered industrial tools. Wear and properly use personal protective equipment including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection in multiple combinations. Assist in field sampling activities, calibration of meters, and waste stream profiling. Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance, and safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements. Work extended time periods including weekends and holidays on a rotating basis for emergency response situations that may extend beyond eight hours. Attend compliance and safety update meetings and follow all local, state, and federal regulations.

- Working on weekends and holidays
- Emergency response situations extending beyond 8 hours, up to 12-24 hrs
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check
- Successfully complete a drug test
- Successfully complete a physical
- Meet facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34
