Job Summary
Environmental Coordinator responsible for developing, implementing, managing and auditing environmental programs at Kern to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Oversees environmental assessments, air and water quality testing, emissions monitoring and reporting, hazardous waste management, and other environmental management activities. Provides training and technical support to personnel, assists in implementation of environmental plans and policies, and coordinates environmental-related research and development. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in safety training and environmental management or compliance in an industrial setting
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour Training (Preferred)
