Job Summary
Environmental Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for environmental regulatory requirements and works with operations, maintenance, and external agencies to maintain compliance and support continuous environmental improvement. Key duties include ensuring compliance with environmental permits (including Title V), monitoring environmental performance and deviations, coordinating corrective actions and documentation, preparing and submitting environmental reports to regulators (EPA, CDPHE, local authorities), maintaining Air Pollution Emission Notices (APENs) and facility-wide greenhouse gas permits, coordinating annual/semi-annual reporting, managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs, and coordinating water permit compliance programs; maintaining Safety Data Sheet (SDS) systems and electronic chemical inventories; and ensuring monitoring, testing, and reporting requirements are effectively implemented. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (preferred), 2–5 years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings (preferred), experience with air permitting, waste management, and environmental reporting, knowledge of EPA, CDPHE, RCRA, Title V, TRI, Tier II, and GHG reporting (preferred), and strong analytical/communication/organizational skills with proficiency in Excel and environmental data management systems.
