Job Summary
The Environmental Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring environmental compliance at a new government office and warehouse facility, including developing and implementing environmental compliance plans, managing hazardous and universal waste, conducting inspections and inventories, and overseeing subcontractor waste management. This role requires significant experience with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience managing environmental compliance
- 40-hr HAZWOPER and DOT HazMat certification required
- Proficiency using MS Office (including MS Word and Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- CHMM certification
