Job Summary
Environmental Compliance Field Inspector Manager conducts field audits of environmental documentation and construction activities, reviews and prepares technical reports on environmental construction compliance, and provides oversight related to environmental permitting and contract specifications. The role requires interpreting scientific data, traveling across the NY/NJ metropolitan area, and coordinating with environmental compliance teams to ensure adherence to Gateway Program and related project requirements. The position is part of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team and supports projects like the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, with a salary range of approximately $112.2k–$196.4k annually and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology or a closely related discipline
- 10-15+ years of prior experience performing construction site inspections
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel throughout the NY/NJ Metro Area
- Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (and current refreshers) - preferred
