Job Summary

Environmental Compliance Engineer responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, developing and maintaining environmental policies and programs, reducing waste and emissions, overseeing waste management, participating in audits (including ISO 14001), training staff on best practices, and preparing compliance reports. Travel to company locations supports site engagement and regulatory coordination; no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental compliance regulations and reporting (e.g., MAERS, SARA Title III, SPCC, SWPPP)
  • Strong attention to detail and document management
  • Analytical skills and ability to identify process gaps and support corrective actions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to regulatory standards and environmental documentation practices
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel)
